Trans at the Table brings together queer game studies and fan studies with questions of representation, worldbuilding, and creative communities to analyze the ways that fans of Friends at the Table connect with the show itself and with the fandom. Trans at the Table asks how tabletop roleplaying games, actual play podcasts, and their fandoms produce queer possibilities against the grain of dominant media production, fundamentally tied to the real-world conditions of their creation.
